Helen Rose Skincare is a Black Woman owned company that was created by Day Bibb to fill a void in the wellness and self-care market.
Day is the Founder and Executive Director of a nonprofit organization called Om Thrive that provides healing yoga and wellness services to survivors of domestic violence and under-served communities of color. In her efforts to promote self-care as a component of the healing process and to raise funds to support the mission of Om Thrive, Day created Helen Rose Skincare company.
The Black community suffers from skin conditions such as eczema, dry itchy and flaky skin at a disproportionate rate. People of color are also experiencing higher rates of mood disruptions such as depression, anxiety and insomnia. Day’s mission for Helen Rose Skincare is to combine skin health with mood health since we are using moisturizing products all over our bodies and mental health can be directly related to disruptions in the health of our skin. Our moisturizers should be of the highest quality, purity and relief. Helen Rose Skincare provides ultra-moisturizing skincare products with mood supporting benefits because that makes sense.
