Hi Ayana, tell us more about your business and where came from the idea of founding your brand “1520 Clothing” ?
I started this because I always had a dream of putting thoughts on a shirt or clothing period. This brand is geared to your everyday thoughts. I didn’t stick to just one thing. Anybody can wear these shirts but I do have shirts for the black community.
We think many of thoughts and I decided to put them on shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies. There is even a pair of joggers available. These shirts are for men, women and children. I’m just getting started with the brand. Designs come to me daily and I’m quick to put them on paper or try to make it up myself. This brand is for anyone who’s willing to stand tall in who they are as an individual. Who’s proud of who they are. Just don’t sleep on 1520 Clothing.

This clothing is for men, women and children. For your everyday people who have no problem wearing what they believe in or how they feel. To uplift the next person. Nike has the Just Do It Shirt. I have the Just Did It Shirt. Because it’s a way of telling people to be proud of what they’ve just done. Don’t do it but that’s it’s already done. These shirts are for authors, readers, and anyone who’s willing to show that they’re proud of the brand itself because it represents them.
