ChakLit Drip is a clothing brand creating designs that inspire our people, empower them, and remind them that we are absolute royalty. ChakLit Drip provides high quality prints on very high quality t-shirts, joggers, jackets, hoodies and tank tops. ChakLit Drip will be adding leggings and kids clothing soon.
Inspired by the melanin people, culture and swag, with a mix of african, jamaican and african american style, Chaklit Drip was inspired by a people who deserve a brand that they can be proud of. A brand that expresses their ideals, their truths, and their emotions.
Chaklit (meaning chocolate in patios – Jamaican dialect) that is meant to represent our skin, our beautiful melanin. Drip, for our choice of style, the way our culture mixes into our swag. The logo has its own meaning as well.
This brand was built with hidden details that represent us. The lion for the strength of my people, the crown because we are all Kings and Queens, the lizards symbolize unity in diversity, because black hypocrisy has no place here.
No matter the shade of melanin, we are all one, and the colors red, green and gold represent an element of the rasta culture that is embedded within me.
