Action No Mercy: Giving basketball athletes the opportunity to play at the highest level

Action No Mercy is a non profit organization that develops the fundamental skills of basketball to give athletes the opportunity to play the level of game they desire.

Their program involves designing a plan with each athlete to create a profile of their skill progress for future recruiters. The program also allows the students to build stronger character to prevent negative behaviors that lead to criminal behaviors and to overall give young athletes hope that anything is possible.

“The goal is to prepare the youth for a successful future” said the manager, Dominique Stringer. “We’re known for helping children learn fundamentals of the game. I’m most proud of this growth we have made throughout the year. What sets me apart from others is that I go above and beyond to make sure these kids have a fair chance to go to college with their talents”… “I’m an advocate for the under dogs. I enjoy working with players who are overlooked. I tend to sharpen their skills and place them in uncomfortable situations so that they can grow. By uncomfortable, I’m speaking about their game. I work on things they may not be too good at yet. Court vision , basketball IG , the simple mechanics. I place them on our AAU team so that they can become exposed by college coaches. We create game tape , highlight reels , and promote our players throughout social media.”, Dominique Stringer added.

Action No Mercy sent over 15 players in the class of 2022 to college on athletic scholarships. They’ve had kids commit to STLCC , Iowa Weslyn , Golden West in California, Quincy University , Lesley University, William Penn , Missouri Baptist University, Avila University, Hannibal LaGrange University , Mid Michigan Community College , and East West University Chicago. During COVID-19, her business grew ! Dominique was able to host more tournaments, camps , and meet many college coaches. This past summer her AAU program became a Cricut Travel team they traveled to Kansas City , Nebraska, Iowa , Cape, and even made a mark in St Louis their home turf.

ACTION NO MERCY develops kids ages 5-21 and work on dribbling, shooting, basketball IQ, and understanding the importance of education. They build profiles of their clients which includes workout footage, game tape highlight footage, and an interview of the athletes in the beginning so that once they reached their goal they can see how far they have come. They even offer personal fitness training.
